Jack Reacher Returns to the Screen

According to Deadline Hollywood, Tom Cruise is moving forward on a Jack Reacher sequel to the 2012 film that was based on Lee Child's One Shot. Why, you may ask,  after that raucous the film caused among Jack Reacher fans who protested the casting of Tom Cruise the first time around. In Hollywood, it all boils down to money, yes? A film that costs $57 million to make and grosses $218 million worldwide makes studio heads talk sequels.

The new project is adapting Never Go Back, the latest Reacher book that was released earlier this fall. The thing to keep in mind...books and movies are two very different animals. And the book is almost always better!
