The Return of Sherlock

I must admit that I have a soft spot in my heart for Sherlock Holmes -- in all shapes and sizes, books or movies!  So I'm delighted that the second season of the edgy, modern day BBC series, Sherlock, returns in May (it's currently playing to British audiences).  Catch a preview on Masterpiece's website.

The three 90-minute films are A Scandal in Belgravia, The Hounds of Baskerville, and The Reichenbach Falls, which is adapted from "The Final Problem" where Sherlock and Moriarty plunge over the falls.  Of course we know that's not the end -- the good news is that the BBC already ordered a season three of Sherlock.

Series' stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock)  and Martin Freeman (Watson) have been busy when not solving mysteries.  Cumberbatch can currently be seen in  Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Spielberg's War Horse.  Freeman has been playing Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit.
