2010 Left Coast Crime: Booked in LA



The 20th convention of Left Coast Crime will be held in Los Angeles, California from March 11-14, 2010.  This annual mystery convention is "sponsored by mystery fans, for mystery fans."  Visit their website for information on this exciting event:  www.leftcoastcrime.org/2010.

The Lefty is awarded for the most humorous mystery:

The Game is Afoot!


You've seen the recent Sherlock Holmes film and now you can't get enough of the Great Detective.  But where to start?  If you haven't read the original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stories, a great resource is the three volume collection, The New Annotated Sherlock Holmes, edited by Leslie S. Klinger. It's one of the most complete and fascinating compilations of Sherlockian lore and tales.
